Orient Bay, or in French "Baie Orientale" sweeps around a blue cove, facing east, as the name suggests. The 2 mile long, white powdered sand beach is protected from the Atlantic waves by reefs, and has a very gradual slope.
Recognized as a marine reserve, snorkeling is just incredible. Considered the most developed, popular and busiest beach on the island, with a large number of beach bars and restaurants directly located on the premises, along with ample parking next to the beach.
Water sport facilities are available, such as parasailing, sailing boats, jet skis and activities for children like water trampolines.Also there are studios and apartments close to the beach and villas in the vicinity of Orient Village
Oh, WAIT........... did I forget to mention that Orient Bay Beach has a major attraction and that attraction being that it is a NUDE BEACH, yes that's right,Orient Bay Beach is a nudist beach "where nothing is better" . There's even a famous club named Club Orient or Club O. Whilst clothing at the beach is not mandatory you are free to wear whatever you want , but upon my visit, we encountered nude and topless sunbathers everywhere in their full glory.
